The first batch of 2.2GWh independent energy storage projects in Henan has been released!

On November 15th, the Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission released the "Announcement on the Selection Results of the 2022 Provincial Independent Energy Storage Power Station Demonstration Projects (First Batch)". There were a total of 11 independent energy storage power station demonstration projects in Henan, with a storage capacity of 1.1GW/2.2GWh.
According to the previous notice issued by the Henan Development and Reform Commission on the selection of 2022 provincial independent energy storage power station demonstration projects (the first batch), the selection criteria for this batch of application projects should meet the following requirements:
（1） The project layout is reasonable. Focus on supporting areas where there is a shortage of electricity supply during the peak summer season this year, as well as difficulties in consuming new energy.
（2） The project has a large scale. The construction capacity of the project shall not be less than 100MWh, and the technical type shall be electrochemical energy storage, with independent operating conditions.
（3） The preliminary work of the project is sufficient. Completed the feasibility study of the project, completed the registration and land use procedures, and obtained supportive opinions from forestry, ecological environment, cultural relics, military, water conservancy and other departments at or above the county level, as well as power system access opinions from power supply departments at or above the city level. The project must start construction this year and be completed and put into operation by the end of 2024.
（4） The project sharing effect is significant. The energy storage capacity of the project has been leased to new energy power generation enterprises such as wind power and photovoltaic, and a leasing agreement has been signed. The wind power and photovoltaic power generation projects and energy storage projects are located in the same provincial city in principle.
（5） The project should have a relatively comprehensive safety plan that meets the requirements of relevant safety regulations.
（6） The project implementation path, operation mode, or application scenario has strong innovation and can play a demonstration and driving role.
（7） Energy storage projects that have been included in the provincial-level integration of source network, load storage, and multi energy complementary demonstration projects will no longer be evaluated.
Announcement on the Selection Results of the 2022 Provincial Independent Energy Storage Power Station Demonstration Project (First Batch)
In accordance with the spirit of the "Notice on the Selection of 2022 Provincial Independent Energy Storage Power Station Demonstration Projects (First Batch)", after expert evaluation, a list of 2022 Provincial Independent Energy Storage Power Station Demonstration Projects (First Batch) has been determined (see the attachment for the specific list), which is now publicly available.
If you have any objections, please report them to the Electric Power Department of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission (Provincial Energy Bureau) during the public notice period. Reporting issues in the name of the unit should be stamped with an official seal, and reporting in the name of an individual should advocate real names.
